We want to send a BIG shout out to all the children and youth who are doing their part to keep us all safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19. You have had to adapt to many new things and you have really stepped up over this whole year.
Here are just some of the things we thank you for:
Physically distancing from friends. You have had to give up playdates with friends, birthday parties, sports, school events. It isn’t easy but you are doing it anyway. Thank you for being so selfless.
Getting tested. You get tested and sometimes isolated, even though it may feel scary and hard. Thank you for being so courageous.
Switching to online. You are doing online schooling and have had to adjust to a whole new way of learning. Thank you for being so adaptable.
Wearing masks. You’ve worn your masks to school, visiting friends and family, going to the store and more. Thank you for being so resilient.
Parents, please share some ways your child has stepped up this past year! Tell us or send a picture. Let’s celebrate them for all the wonderful things they have done and continue to do. Remember to tell them how grateful we all are.
