March Plans at The North Grove

Updated: Apr 12, 2022

Starting Tuesday, March 1, The North Grove will begin holding in-person programs again.

Proof of vaccination will no longer be required; however, we will be operating at 50% capacity and continuing our safety measures to keep everyone healthy.

Layers of protection for you:
  • Masks are required at all times

  • Social distance is required

  • Hand sanitization will continue

  • You may remove your mask only when actively eating or drinking

  • Eating or drinking will only take place where social distance can be maintained and air filters are in use

Please stay home if...
  • You have any symptoms of COVID-19

  • You have had contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19

We need to take care of ourselves and each other. Please follow the instructions from NS Health if you feel sick: www.nshealth.ca/coronavirustesting. We look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better.

If you need support, call us at 902-464-8234 ext. 0 and leave a message.

We are committed to safely bringing The North Grove community back together again.

As eager as we are, we know it will take time to plan, prepare, and bring in enough volunteers to increase our in-person programming. Stay tuned for more updates!

This information is also available as a printed handout and is posted in the window at The North Grove. If you have any questions please get in touch by calling us at 902-464-8234 ext. 0 or email info@thenorthgrove.ca

The North Grove gratefully acknowledges that we live and work in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people.

This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship which Mi’kmaq, Wolastoqiyik, and Passamaquoddy People first signed with the British Crown in 1726. We are all treaty people.

People of African descent have also shared these lands for more than 400 years.

We acknowledge the histories, contributions, and legacies of these communities and are grateful to live, work and grow food in Mi’kma’ki.
