Soon the kids will be out of school for summer and parents and caregivers will all be looking for easy meals and snacks that let everyone enjoy a more relaxed pace.
Here are some tips from our Adult & Family Programs team at The North Grove!
In the summer we want to plan meals and snacks that:
Don’t require a lot of time cooking in the oven
Think tortilla rollups, BBQ’s, and pasta.
Can be consumed on the go
Snack and Meals to-go are great for picnics at the park, day trips and evenings when it’s just too nice to stay inside. We suggest sandwiches, fruit, and vegetables.
Help cool you down
Hot days are great for enjoying cool treats. Smoothies, yogurt pops, and fruit salad are a wonderful way to enjoy tasty and nutritious treats!
